This week Hao Zhou, a M.F.A. student at Iowa, was honored with a Graduate Research Excellence Award.

These awards are a part of the Discovery and Innovation Awards through The University of Iowa. They honor students who are conducting highly original research and scholarly activity and make a significant contribution to the field.

Only four graduate students from across the campus have been awarded this year, three of them being Ph.D. students. Hao was the only M.F.A. student recognized for the excellence of his work.

Fantastic work, Hao!
