Anna is a screenwriter and Pushcart-nominated poet from Atlanta, Georgia. She has an MFA from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and a BA in English from the University of Georgia. Having joined the Cinematic Arts department in 2015, Anna has taught Foundations of Screenwriting, Short Form and Long Form Screenwriting, Fundamentals of Screenwriting, and The Art of Smartphone Filmmaking. Her work has appeared in dozens of nationally ranked literary magazines including Ploughshares, Poetry Northwest, Prairie Schooner, and The Iowa Review.
