Landen Fulton is a writer, historian, and MA student in the Department of Cinematic Arts at the University of Iowa. His areas of research include ethnographic and avant-garde documentary, early visual culture, and the relationship between cinema and landscape. He holds a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Comparative Literature and Philosophy. Beyond academia, he has worked in film criticism, broadcast radio, and audiovisual archiving.
