Andrea Schuster received a BA in Communication and Philosophy from the University of Iowa, an MFA in Film from Boston University, and an MA in English from Oregon State University. She worked as a negative cutter and digital filmmaking instructor in Seattle before returning to Iowa as a PhD student.
