Lindsay Vella is the departmental administrator for the Department of Cinematic Arts. She coordinates and manages work processes and administrative procedures and policies, oversees HR processes and provides guidance and advice, manages program budgets and financial data, develops and implements strategic plans, and supervises communications and marketing.

Lindsay has an MFA in Creative Writing from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and a BA in English with a sub-concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Michigan. Her poems have appeared in DIAGRAM, Bat City Review, Black Warrior Review, Tupelo Quarterly, Sugar House Review, and others. She is an assistant editor for Ancient Exchanges, an online literary journal of translations of ancient texts.
