Dini Parayitam is a fiction writer, screenwriter, and filmmaker with an MFA in Fiction Writing from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Her short fiction has been published in Boston Review, Joyland Magazine, The Iowa Review, among other places. She has produced four short films that have premiered at Oscar Qualifying film festivals. Her first feature credit as a co-screenwriter - A SILENT WAVE (Mouna Tharangam, English / Telugu) - is in production, to be directed by Sachin Dheeraj Mudigonda and produced by Kinostreet. She frequently collaborates with her screenwriting partner, Jerika Marchan.  

 

She is currently working on her debut novel and developing a slate of projects for TV and film. She splits her time between Iowa City and Berlin.
